Location
Brighton is a suburb located 11km south-east of the Central Business District of Melbourne. It is between Elwood and Hampton. The Royal Brighton Yacht Club even thrived during the great depression, and has remained a strong club which has been enjoyed by many members ever since. The marina was established in the 1960s to expand facilities and was then further extended in 1979 including an addition of a hardstand. Now, the Royal Brighton Yacht Club is a venue that has provides sailing, the marina and a restaurant which provides fine dining with a stunning view out over the marina. In 2025 the Royal Brighton Yacht Club will also be celebrating its 150-year milestone!
